The load is a concentrated moment M at point ’b’ and the load intensity q between points ’c’ and ’d’. Both the bar and the beam are made of the same material of the Young modulus E. 1. Determine the minimum diameter D of the bar ’ce’ assuming the plastic limit Re and safety factor ns. 2. Find the translation of point ’d’. 3. Draw the plots of the shear forces T and bending moment M along the beam. 4. Calculate the maximum stress in the beam.
